Enquiry Management

Overview

Enquiry Management is the starting point of the project workflow. It captures the initial request from the customer along with the essential details required to evaluate the scope of work and initiate the BOQ and Estimation preparation.

Enquiry forms the foundation for all subsequent project documents and ensures traceability from the very first customer interaction.

Purpose

To record customer requirements, maintain enquiry history, and provide a structured base for technical and commercial evaluation leading up to BOQ creation.

Key Features

  • Capture customer information and project scope.
  • Add descriptions, technical details, drawings, and attachments.
  • Ability to categorize enquiries (new project, variation, maintenance, redesign, etc.).
  • Assign enquiry owner for internal responsibility and tracking.
  • Acts as the reference for BOQ, Estimate, and Quotation stages.
  • Maintains enquiry status
