Overview
The Stock & Warehouse Module in DIGITZ ERP is the core inventory management layer responsible for maintaining all item and warehouse data across the organisation.
It provides a structured and centralised framework to define warehouses, maintain item records, classify items, support multiple units of measure, manage pricing, track daily stock movements, and maintain accurate stock balances.
This module interacts with all areas where physical items are handled—such as purchases, deliveries, material issues, or internal warehouse transfers—and ensures that stock quantities and valuation are updated accurately whenever these transactions occur.
It acts as the reference point for stock availability, warehouse-level tracking, and item cost consistency throughout the system.
The module supports:
Warehouse Management
- Define multiple warehouse locations (main warehouse, branch warehouse, service vans, stores, temporary or transit locations).
- Maintain a structured warehouse hierarchy to organise stock efficiently.
Item Master & Classification
- Create and manage complete item records.
- Organise items under Item Groups for structured categorisation and reporting.
- Maintain detailed item attributes and specifications.
Multiple Unit of Measurement (UOM) Support
- Define both primary and secondary units per item.
- Maintain conversion factors for flexible transactions (e.g., Box → Piece, Roll → Meter).
- Allow buying, selling, and transferring items in different units while maintaining accuracy.
Price List & Item Price Management
- Maintain multiple Price Lists (Standard Selling, Wholesale, Cost Price, etc.).
- Define item-wise pricing through the Item Price master.
- Ensure consistency and control over pricing across purchasing and sales-related transactions.
Stock Operations
- Stock Reconciliation to align system quantities with physical stock during periodic counts or corrections.
- Stock Transfer for moving items between warehouses or internal locations.
- Stock Ledger & Valuation to track every movement and maintain accurate costing.
Key Stock Reports
The module includes essential reports that provide full visibility into daily stock activities and warehouse performance:
- Daily Stock Report – Displays stock transactions for the selected date.
- Daily Stock Summary Report – Summarises opening, inward, outward, and closing quantities.
- Stock Ledger – Provides a complete transaction-wise history for each item.

Purpose
The purpose of the Stock & Warehouse Module is to ensure that all inventory-related operations are accurate, traceable, and centrally controlled.
It enables organisations to:
- Maintain real-time and accurate stock levels across all warehouse locations.
- Ensure item master data, item group classification, UOM conversions, and pricing structures remain consistent.
- Track inward, outward, and internal stock movements with complete transparency.
- Provide reliable stock availability for purchasing, sales, service jobs, and internal operations.
